We're here for you and your pet if you need us. If you need to make a claim then you can download the relevant claim form here, or from the bottom of this page and email it to petguardclaims@ncionline.co.uk. Alternatively, you can post your form to us at:

The veterinary fees claim form is available to policyholders whose pet has already received treatment and want to claim the costs of veterinary fees back.
The pre-authorisation form is available to policyholders who are seeking assurance that treatment will be covered before it goes ahead. For more information, please refer to the below step by step guide.

For all sections of cover (except for Third party liability cover)
If you need to make a claim and you either:
- Purchased your policy before 1st May 2024, or
- Your last renewal date was before 13th May 2024, please contact Covea Insurance on: 0333 130 4534. Alternatively, you can email: claims@petadminteam.com
If you need to make a claim and you purchased your policy after 1st May 2024, please contact our UK-based claims team by calling us on: 01423 447 365. Alternatively, you can email: petguardclaims@ncionline.co.uk.
If you need to make a claim and your last renewal date was after 13th May 2024, who you contact depends on when your pet’s treatment was done. If the treatment you want to claim for was:
- Purchased your policy before 1st May 2024, or
- Your last renewal date was before 13th May 2024, please contact Covea Insurance on: 0333 130 4534. Alternatively, you can email: claims@petadminteam.com
To claim for Third party liability cover (all customers)
Phone: 0330 024 2266 (Select Option 1 - New Claim, followed by Option 2).

We will keep you updated on the progress of any claim by email and/or text message.
Claim payments
If your claim has been successful, then we can issue the claim payment to:
- Your bank account, using the same details that you have provided us with, so you aren't left out of pocket, or;
- Directly to your vet, if your vet is able to accept direct payments and this is easier for you.
